In your multi-tenant API Gateway
- Select Authorized Apps from the API Gateway menu.
- Click Add.
- Name your authorized app, for example: API Gateway Bridge Backend Service
- Select Type: Backend Service.
- Provide a Description.
- To allow for user impersonation, select User Impersonation.
- To allow for ID translation, select ID Translation.

Select Upload Public Key.
Navigate to the IONAPI-Bridge-Public-JWT.json downloaded from your single-tenant/on-premises API Gateway in the previous section. Key ID, Key Value, and Algorithm are populated from the IONAPI-Bridge-Public-JWT.json upload.
- Click Save. The client ID and secret are generated.
- Select Download Credentials.
- Select Create Service Account.

Select a User Management Property for ID
Translation.
Note: This is the cross reference (XRC) and is what the API Gateway Bridge subject will be matched against.
- Click Download and save your API Gateway Bridge Backend Service.ionapi file to a secure location.

Select Available
APIs from the API Gateway menu.
- Choose an API suite.
- Within the suite details, copy the endpoint to be bridged.
- Return to your single-tenant/on-premises API Gateway to complete the remaining configuration steps.
