Viewing audit events for API Gateway

Use the Auditing and Monitoring functionality in Infor OS Security to search for and view audit transactions for API Gateway. Reviewing these events helps verify configuration changes, monitor administrative actions, and maintain compliance with security and audit requirements.

To view audit events, your user must have one of these roles: FS-AuditReportUser, IFS-AuditAdministrator, or Infor-SystemAdministrator.

  1. Select OS > Security.
  2. Expand the side menu.
  3. Select Auditing and Monitoring > Audit Event Search.
  4. In the Date and Time Range field, select Last 60 minutes.
  5. In the dropdown next to Logical ID, select lid://infor.ionapi.ionapi.
  6. Click Search.
  7. View the list of audit events for API Gateway that occurred within the last hour.
  8. Select an audit event to view its details.

The selected audit event displays detailed information, including:

  • Tenant ID: The tenant where the change occurred.
  • Log time: The date and time when the change occurred.
  • Entity type: The resource that was changed, such as Authorized App or Configuration.
  • Session ID: A unique identifier for the event.
  • Outcome: Indicates whether the event was successful or failed.
  • Entity ID: The name and description of the entity that changed.
  • Event creator: The email address of the user who performed the action, if available.
  • Audit event type: The type of audit event, usually Application.
  • Creator permissions: The roles assigned to the user.
  • Severity: The severity level of the update, usually High.
  • Transaction name: The specific name of the audit event transaction.
  • Logical ID: The logical ID of the application, typically lid://infor.ionapi.ionapi.
  • Before update and After update: A side-by-side comparison showing what changed.
