Frequently asked questions

Why did my notification disappear after I acted on it?

Most actions, such as Done, Approve, or Reject, complete the item and move it to the archive, where it becomes read-only. This is expected behavior.

Why can’t I assign or unassign a notification?

Only some tasks and alerts can be assigned. The assignment of archived notifications can't be changed. If the notification changed outside Notification Center, assignment may fail and show an error.

Why does Notification Center show me “Additional details required” when I try to act on an item?

Some notifications cannot be completed from the list or preview. Select Open details to load the detail view before acting.

Why does my search return no results even though I know the item exists?

Searching uses the exact full text that you type, not individual keywords. Try specifying fewer characters and verify that no filter is applied. Filters override search results.

Why does my filter seem to override my search?

Search and filters cannot be active simultaneously.

Applying a filter clears the search, and running a search clears the filter.

Why are some actions disabled in multi-select mode?

Bulk actions require all selected items to be the same type, have the same assignment state, and share the same action label. Otherwise, action buttons are hidden or disabled.

Why don't drillback links work on my mobile device?

Some drillback links are not supported by Infor Go. If the link fails, open the item in the web version of Notification Center.

Why am I not receiving mobile push notifications?

Push notifications are configured in Infor Go. Push notifications must be enabled by notification type in the mobile app settings and allowed by your device's operating system.

Why does the widget show fewer items than the full Notification Center?

The Notification Center widget uses only the filter configured through the widget settings and does not support saved filters or custom filtering. Its results depend entirely on its configuration.

Why do archived notifications look faded and inactive?

Archived items are displayed in grayscale and all action buttons are disabled. You can open archived items in preview and the detail view, but you can’t change them.

Why do I see errors such as “Message details are unavailable” or “Try again later”?

The errors Message details are unavailable or Try again later indicate service connectivity issues. Try reopening the item. If the error is persistent, contact your administrator.

Why does “Load More” keep appearing?

Notification Center loads items in batches of 200 at a time. When more items are available, Load more is displayed again.
