Access to Notification Center
Notification Center is opened in the Smart Panel. To access Notification Center, click the icon in Infor OS Portal.
This table shows the icon to navigate to Notification Center:

| Envelope | Opens the Smart Panel in Infor OS Portal. By default, the active application is opened: Notification Center or Inbox. The tooltip includes the name of the active application.
A blue dot on the icon indicates that you have new notifications. |
Alternatively, you can use the widget in Infor OS Portal or open Notification Center in Infor Go.
Top panel of the Smart Panel
Notification Center is opened in the Smart Panel. The top panel is a fixed header area of the Smart Panel. The top panel includes controls that are visible regardless of how you use the Smart Panel. You can adjust your workspace when reviewing notifications.
Elements in the top panel:
- Application name: shows the name of the module currently open.
- switch: changes the active application. Use this switch to open Notification Center or return to Inbox. This switch is primarily for transition and comparison during rollout periods.
- icon: temporarily places the Smart Panel on top of the main Portal window.
- or icon: changes the size of the Smart Panel. The icon expands the Notification Center to full screen. The icon returns the Notification Center to the previously used quarter- or half-width size.
- icon: closes the Smart Panel. When you reopen the Notification Center, the application state is not reset (for example, items are selected, and the preview is opened).

| Assigned | Assigned notification (with a profile photo or initials). | |
| Unassigned | Unassigned notification. | |
| Assign to me | Assigns the notification to you. | |
| Unassign | Removes the notification from you. | |
| Mark as read | Quick action to complete a message. | |
| High priority | High-priority task. | |
| Escalation | Escalated task. The number shows the level of escalation, for example 2. | |
| Tag | Tags attached to a notification. | |
| Edit | Edits a saved filter. | |
| Delete | Deletes a saved filter. |
