Navigation

Notification Center is accessible through the Smart Panel in Infor OS Portal. Navigation in Notification Center relies on icons.

Access to Notification Center

To access Notification Center, click the Envelope icon in the Smart Panel. To learn more about the Smart Panel navigation, refer to Infor OS Portal User Guide.

Note: To use Notification Center, you must have access to Infor OS Portal.

When you click the Envelope icon icon, the active application (Notification Center or Inbox) is opened: The tooltip for the icon includes the name of the active application.

A blue dot on the icon indicates that you have new notifications.

Alternatively, you can use the Notification Center widget in Infor OS Portal or open Notification Center in Infor Go.

Icons in Notification Center

This table shows the icons that are used in Notification Center:

Event counter Event counter icon Number of events.
Task Task icon Task event.
Alert Alert icon Alert event.
Message Message icon Message event.
Search Search icon Search field.
Recent search Recent search icon Recent search.
Category search Category search icon Search for notifications from a specific category.
Filter Filter icon Filter settings.

A blue dot on the icon indicates that a filter is applied.
Sort down Sort down icon Sort by creation date, with the newest first.
Sort up Sort up icon Sort by creation date, with the oldest first.
Urgency sorting Urgency sorting icon Sort by the priority.
Due date sorting Due date sorting icon Sort by due date.
Settings Settings icon Settings.
Assigned Assigned icon Assigned notification (with a profile photo or initials).
Unassigned Unassigned icon Unassigned notification.
Assign to me Assign to me icon Assigns the notification to you.
Unassign Unassign icon Removes the notification assignment from you.
Mark as read Mark as read icon Quick action to complete a message.
High priority High priority icon High-priority task.
Escalation Escalation icon Escalated task. The number shows the level of escalation,such as 2.
Tag Tag icon Tags attached to a notification.
Edit Edit icon Edits a saved filter.
Delete Delete icon Deletes a saved filter.
