Notification archive

When you complete a notification, it is removed from the active list and added to the archive. You can view and sort your archived notifications, but you can't restore them or perform any other actions on them.

Completing a notification

When you complete a notification, it means that the work associated with it is finished. For example, you can approve a notification, reject it, or mark it as complete.

A completed notification is immediately moved from the active list to the archive.

  1. Open Notification Center.
  2. Find the notification.
Note: You can complete several notifications simultaneously. To select multiple notifications, hover over one notification and select its check box. Check boxes for other listed notifications of the same type are displayed. You can select up to 100 notifications.

To select the maximum number of notifications with one click, select the top check box.

  3. Perform an action on the notification.
Actions you can perform depend on the source application, the notification type and the view used:
    • List: If the item is a message, you can mark it as complete. Hover over the item and click Mark as read in Infor OS Portal or long-press it in Infor Go.
    • Preview: You can click the action buttons (primary and secondary actions) inside the preview. For example, Approve and Reject.
    • Detail view: You can click action buttons.

For some actions, you may be required to provide more information in a pop-up window and confirm the action.
