ION auditing

Use the ION Auditing page to define which events are logged for auditing in ION. You specify which user actions are logged based on the settings on the ION Auditing page. To open the ION Auditing page, select ION > Configuration > ION Auditing.

Select or clear these actions to log user activities:

  • View
  • Create
  • Change
  • Delete
  • Import
  • Export
  • Resubmit

Status-related actions are grouped under a single option:

  • Update status

The Update status option logs all relevant status changes for supported objects, including:

  • Activate (API Flows, Monitors, Workflows, Activation Policies, Alarm Templates, Business Rules, ION Service - PGP keys)
  • Deactivate (API Flows, Monitors, Workflows, Activation Policies, Alarm Templates, Business Rules, ION Service - PGP keys)
  • Pause (Active Connection Points)
  • Resume (Active Connection Points)
  • Approval (Mapping, Business Rules)

Selecting Update status ensures that all applicable status changes for an object are logged.

Note: By default, all check boxes are clear on the ION Auditing page.
