Language and Region

You can change the language, the localization region, and the time zone used in Infor OS Portal.

Infor OS Portal supports multiple languages and regional settings for displaying numbers, dates, time, and time zones.

By default, Infor OS Portal uses your browser's language and regional settings. If either setting is not supported, the corresponding administrator-configured value is used. You can change your language, locale, and time zone on the Language and Region tab.

To access the Language and Region tab, select User menu > User Settings > Language and Region.

The language and locale settings can be different. For example, you can set the language to English (en-US) but set the locale to Swedish (sv-SE) to apply a yyyy-MM-dd date format.

When Infor OS Portal is set to use the browser language or browser region, emails sent by the application use the administrator-configured language and locale. This rule applies even when the browser language or browser region is supported in Infor OS Portal.

If you change your browser language and regional settings, you must sign out and sign back in to Infor OS Portal before all of the site content that supports translation is displayed in the selected language.
