Web

You can use the Web widget to search the web and go to your favorite sites without opening a separate browser.

This table shows the configuration elements for the Web widget:


Setting	Description
Title	Title of the widget.
URL	URL of the web page to display within the widget content area.
Enable refresh	Switch to enable or disable the refresh action on the widget header.
Launch URL	If you specify a URL here, the page is launched in a separate window or tab when you select Launch from the widget menu.
Show header	Switch to show the title and icons in the header.
Header action	This setting is available when the Show header switch is enabled. You can select from these options: Refresh: If you select Refresh, and the Enable refresh switch is enabled, the Refresh icon is displayed in the header. If you select Refresh and the Enable refresh switch is not enabled, then nothing is displayed in the header. Launch: If you select Launch, then the Launch icon is displayed in the header. Clicking the Launch icon opens the specified URL, or the launch URL if it is configured.

Note: We recommend using HTTPS links. Some browsers may block URLs that do not use HTTPS when the parent page is loaded using HTTPS.
