Editing a published workspace

After a workspace has been published to the Workspace Catalog, you can no longer edit the page as if it were a private page. To make changes to a published page, you must republish the page.

  1. Click the Navigation menu icon.
  2. Navigate to the Workspaces section.
  3. Locate the workspace and click the vertical dots icon.
  4. Click Edit published Workspace.
  5. Click Edit layout.
  6. Select one of these layout options to edit:
    Option Description
    Desktop Changes affect the layout used in a standard desktop browser window.
    Phone Changes affect the layout used in smaller desktop browser windows and on mobile browsers.
  7. Change the layout and click Save.
    Changes to the widget order and size apply only to the selected layout. You can switch between the layouts at any time.

    Adding and deleting a widget applies to both desktop and phone layouts, but you can exclude a widget from a layout. To exclude a widget from a layout select one of these options:

    • Click Manage widgets and clear the appropriate Show on desktop or Show on phone check boxes. Select any of those check boxes to include the widget in the layout. All added widgets are displayed in the Manage Widgets window.
    • On a widget, click the Hide on desktop or Hide on phone icon. Click the Show on desktop or Show on phone icon to include the widget in the layout. Only widgets that are included in the selected layout are displayed.
    Caution: Excluding a widget from both layouts removes it from the workspace. If you try to exclude a widget from both layouts, you are notified through a warning icon or a confirmation window.
  8. Click Edit publishing configuration to change the configuration of the workspace.
    Click Apply to confirm your changes.
  9. Click Republish.
