General Settings

In General Settings, you can manage these settings:
Setting Description
Accent color > Default accent color Determines the default accent color. Use the list to select the default accent color.
Accent color > Default accent color > Add exception Adds a specific default accent color for a group of users based on their security role.
Accent color > Allow users to set their own accent color Enables users to select the accent color.
Accent color > Allow users to set their own accent color > Add exception Adds an exception for enabling the accent color selection value.
Localization Settings > Fallback language Determines the fallback language for Infor OS Portal and email language.
Localization Settings > Only allow users to select specific languages Specifies what languages the user can use and see in User Settings. The languages can be selected from the list of Infor OS Portal supported languages. When user selects the check box, the administrator can select the language from the Available Languages box and move it to the Selected Languages box.

If this feature is enabled, the fallback language must be a language in the Selected Languages box.

Localization Settings > Fallback locale Determines the fallback locale for Infor OS Portal and email locale.
Localization Settings > Fallback time zone Determines the fallback time zone for Infor OS Portal and email time zone.
Sign Out Redirect > Enable URL redirect when users sign out Determines where the user is redirected upon signing out. The changes take up to 20 minutes to reflect. The URL must begin with http(s)://.
Confirmation Prompt > Prompt for notification when leaving this site Determines whether you are prompted to save changes when you leave an application.
Confirmation Prompt > Allow users to choose prompt settings Determines whether users can enable and disable confirmation prompts in User Settings > General.
Enable Offline Mode Enables certain applications to run in offline mode. Currently, this feature is supported only for specific use cases. It is not available to all users.
Enable Auditing and Monitoring Enables the auditing of privileged actions within Infor OS Portal. When a privileged action is performed when this setting is enabled, a record of that action is stored and accessible on the Audit Event Search page under Security. Privileged actions are actions that affect multiple users, such as publishing content, changing admin settings and managing applications.
Enable User Password Management Enables users to manage their password or passkey from the user settings. When disabled, the Manage Password and Manage Passkey settings are hidden from the User Settings page. The only way for users to reset their password or passkey is from the Forgot Password option on the sign-in page. The purpose of this setting is to prevent users from being able to reset passwords on shared accounts.
GenAI Assistant Chat Teaser > Show a teaser for the GenAI Assistant to encourage user engagement. Enables a teaser for the GenAI assistant chat. The teaser is a pop-up window that highlights the GenAI chat icon on users' portal navigation bar.
