LN user data defaults sets

The LN User Data Defaults Set page is maintained in LN. It can be assigned to both new and existing security users in IFS before those users are assigned security roles for LN access. The defaults set is used to populate several LN‑specific user properties during registration and synchronization. If no data defaults set is assigned in IFS, the system default values are applied when a user is registered.

Default assignment behavior

You can configure a default LN user data defaults set using the list. If you leave the list empty, no default value is applied. When new users are created, the configured default set is automatically assigned unless one of these conditions is met:

  • A different LN user data defaults set is assigned at the user level.
  • The set is assigned through a SCIM group.

Each user can be assigned to only one LN user data defaults set. The assigned value can be viewed on the User Details page in the Default LN User Data Defaults Set field. After assignment, the specified codes and descriptions are synchronized with LN through the LN Attribute Service.

  • Language
  • User data template
  • Default text groups template
  • Text group authorization template
