Assigning security access profiles to users

You can assign users to security access profiles from several locations in the system, including the Security Access Profiles the User page, and the Security Role to Security Access Profile Mapping page. Use this procedure to add users directly from the Security Access Profiles page.

  1. Go to Configure > Master Data Types > Security Access Profiles.
  2. Click the Add new item icon.
  3. Click the User tab.
  4. Click the Add new item icon to open the Assign Users overlay.
  5. Select the users to assign to the security access profile.
  6. Click Save .
  7. Click Save on the Security Access Profiles page to apply the changes.
  8. Review any prompts displayed during the update.
    Note: If a user already has a different security access profile assigned, the system prompts you to replace the existing assignment. When a user has a security access profile set at both the user level and the security role level, the user-level assignment takes precedence over the role-level configuration.
