Manage an LN user data defaults set

For more information about LN integrations and user defaults, see the Infor LN Integrations Library (Cloud) and select OS Integrations > IFS Integration > Setup and configuration > LN master data > User data defaults set.

Creating an LN user data defaults set

  1. Select Security > Configure > Master Data Types > LN User Data Defaults Set.
  2. Click Add new item.
  3. Specify a name and a description.
  4. Optionally, click the Assign to all existing users icon.
  5. Optionally, associate existing users during creation.
  6. Click Save Item.

Updating an LN user data defaults set

  1. Select Security > Configure > Master Data Types > LN User Data Defaults Set.
  2. Select an LN user data defaults set from the grid and click details icon.
  3. Click the Assign to all existing users icon to apply the set to all current users.
  4. Assign or remove users using the User tab.
  5. Click Save Item to apply changes.
    Note: When you try to assign the user, that is already added to another LN user data defaults set, this confirmation message will be displayed: Users will be associated to this LN User Data Defaults Set and removed from the existing set.

Deleting an LN user data defaults set

Remove all users from the defaults set before you delete the set. Remove users on the LN User Data Defaults Set page or the Users page.

  1. Select Security > Configure > Master Data Types > LN User Data Defaults Set.
  2. Select an LN user data defaults set from the grid and click details icon.
  3. On the User tab, select the users and click the Delete selected item(s) icon.
  4. Click the Save Item icon.
  1. Select Manage > Users and click details icon for a specific user.
  2. Click the Details tab and clear the LN User Data Defaults Set field.
  3. Click the Save Item icon.

An LN user data defaults set must not be assigned to an SCIM Group. Remove all SCIM Groups mappings that use the LN user data defaults set.

  1. Select Manage > SCIM Groups.
  2. Click details icon and then click the LN User Data Defaults Set tab.
  3. Select an LN user data defaults set from the grid and click the Delete selected item(s) icon.
  1. Select Security > Configure > Master Data Types > LN User Data Defaults Set.
  2. Select an LN user data defaults set from the grid.
  3. Click the Delete selected item(s) icon.
  4. Confirm the deletion.
