Trusted Domains

With Infor OS you can sign in using either Infor OS Cloud Identity or Federated Identity. When using Federated Identity, you receive a notification in the Infor OS Portal header bar to verify your email address.

Why use trusted domains

Adding a domain as a trusted domain removes the need for email verification for federated users. Once a domain is trusted, users with email addresses matching the trusted domain do not receive email verification requests. Adding a trusted domain simplifies the sign-in process for federated users.

How to add a trusted domain

Trusted domains can only be added through the Tenant Provisioning Service. Provide the domain name to your administrator or provisioning team for configuration.

Note:
  • This feature is applicable only to domains added via tenant provisioning.
  • To prevent emails from being sent to users, select Security > Security Administration > Settings > Infor Clous Identities > Configuration and choose one of these options:
    • Disable Cloud Identities by clearing the Enable access using Infor Cloud Identities check box.
    • Limit Cloud Identity access to only the necessary users. Select the Enable access using Infor Cloud Identities check box and then the For specified users (select specific users and/or names for each data types to which the user belongs in the tabs below) radio button. For detailed guidance, see: Enabling a subset of users to log in with Infor OS Cloud Identities

The Identity Provider (IdP) must be created before changing any setting. For more information, see Federated Security
