Adding additional properties

  1. Select Security > Metadata > User Properties.
  2. Click the Additional Properties tab.
  3. Click Add new item.
  4. Specify this information: Name, Description, and Data Type.
    Data Type
    You should select one of these values:
    • Boolean: show additional fields when you select them.
    • Lookup: show additional fields when you select them.
    • Multiselect: show additional fields when you select them.
    • Number
    • Date
    • Text
  5. If you selected Boolean as the data type, specify values in the True and False fields.
  6. If you selected Lookup as the data type, specify this additional information:
    • Manual entry: Use the Add new item icon to specify values individually.
    • Bulk upload: Click BULK UPLOAD to import values from the CSV file. Supported headers in the CSV file are Value and Description.
    • Export function: Click Download to export all values as a CSV file.
  7. If you selected Multiselect as the data type, specify this additional information:
    • Manual entry: Use the Add new item icon to specify values individually.
    • Bulk upload: Click BULK UPLOAD to import values from the CSV file. Supported headers in the CSV file are Value and Description.
    • Export function: Click Download to export all values as a CSV file.
    • You can select more than one value in the Multiselect property: Manage > Users > User details > Additional Properties.
  8. Click Save Item to create the additional property.

    You cannot edit the Name and Data Type fields after additional properties are created.
