Push notifications
To receive push notifications, you must have the appropriate security role. For example, MingleIONEnabled for Inbox or the relevant application-specific access role for other applications.
You can expand a push notification by touching and holding it. The expanded notification includes up to five parameters with the most important information, along with the title, message, and any configured action buttons. Action buttons can open a specific screen in Infor Go or trigger a background action such as acknowledging a task.
When a workflow requires reauthentication, tapping an action button in the task details pane prompts you to confirm your identity again. After successful reauthentication, the selected action is completed. The same behavior occurs regardless of which application sends push notifications: Inbox or Notification Center.
When a task, alert, or notification is completed by any user, the associated push notification is silently cleared from all recipient devices. The removal applies to multiple active sessions for the same user and devices used by other workflow participants. If the completion occurs while a device is offline, the push notification is cleared when the device reconnects to the network.
