Push notifications

If a tenant is provisioned with Infor Inbox or Notification Center, and with an app that supports push notifications, you receive those notifications within Infor Go.

To receive push notifications, you must have the appropriate security role. For example, MingleIONEnabled for Inbox or the relevant application-specific access role for other applications.

You can expand a push notification by touching and holding it. The expanded notification includes up to five parameters with the most important information, along with the title, message, and any configured action buttons. Action buttons can open a specific screen in Infor Go or trigger a background action such as acknowledging a task.

Due to limitations for expandable notifications in Android, parts of the message body may be trimmed at the end to accommodate action buttons.

When a workflow requires reauthentication, tapping an action button in the task details pane prompts you to confirm your identity again. After successful reauthentication, the selected action is completed. The same behavior occurs regardless of which application sends push notifications: Inbox or Notification Center.
