Creating new version from Basic Info page

  1. Open the Basic info page for the Document Process Flow (DPF) for which you want to create a new version.
  2. Click Create New Version.
  3. Select the specific version of the DPF to copy from, for example 1.0.0 for the first version.
All properties are inherited from the selected base version.
  4. Select Version style:
    Major
Increments the first digit of the selected base version, for example, 1.0.0 to 2.0.0.
    Minor
Increments the second digit of the selected base version, for example, 1.0.0 to 1.1.0.
Note: When a Document Processor Flow is associated with a Global Package and deployed to a target tenant, the system hides the Major and Minor options during version creation. The system creates a Patch version by incrementing the third digit of the selected base version. Patch versioning applies to Global Package flows. For non-Global Package flows, Major and Minor version increments apply.
  5. Modify the content as needed. You can update the DPF description, document classes, activities, and prompt instructions.
Changes to the new version do not affect previous versions.
  6. Specify the status of the new version as either Draft or Active.
  7. Save the new version.
