Adding key identifiers to extensions

  1. Open Add Document Class component.
  2. Select an existing entity to act as a Key Identifier for the customer or supplier.
  3. Open Prompt component.
  4. When you add an extension, select a key identifier field, for example Vendor name or Country code.
  5. Specify the condition value that the key identifier must match, for example ABC for the Vendor name or USAfor the Country code.
  6. Select the operator for the condition from this list:
    Equals (=)
    Exact match, applies when the value exactly matches the defined condition.
    Not Equals (≠)
    Applies when the value does not match the defined condition.
    Contains
    Applies when the value contains the specified string.
    Starts With
    Applies when the value begins with the specified string.
    Ends With
    Applies when the value ends with the specified string.
  7. Add the extension prompt and save the configuration.
    Note: You can add several key identifiers in one group to create compound conditions that use AND or OR logic.
