Notification Center
Notification Center is a common interface where you can interact with notifications from various sources across the CloudSuite. You can access the Notification Center by clicking the icon in the Smart panel.
By default, notifications from the Notification Center are enabled if the Notification Center feature is active on your tenant. You can disable the notification manually.
Notifications from Health Service are categorized into these groups:
- Alert: represented by the icon, indicates errors and alerts, that require a user action.
- Message: represented by the icon, indicates resolved health events.
You can search and filter the notifications.
List view
Notifications are displayed in a list with the message header, timestamp, and the icon.
The Notification Center shows key notifications about Health Events, that is a first unhealthy notification for an issue and the healthy notification when the issue is resolved. To see the complete timeline of an issue, click Open Health Service.
Each notification of the Application Events that is displayed in the Health Notifications view is also displayed in the Notification Center.
The events in the Notification Center list remain for 30 days. You can click on a notification to go to the preview mode.
Preview mode
The preview mode expands the notification and shows the event key parameters.
The event key parameters are:
- Module: module name
- Event: event name
- Resource: resource name that may be a link (if provided) that directs to the application where the issue occurred.
- More details: link that directs to the Health Notifications view.
- Message: detailed description of the notification
A notification can contain up to nine additional key parameters. Which additional key parameters are included depends on the event. You can view additional key parameters in the notification details. To open them, maximize the Notification Center panel or click in preview mode.
In the preview mode, you can mark notifications as read and acknowledge them for all users with the same security role. Acknowledged notifications are archived and removed from the menu in the Health notifications screen. You can acknowledge up to 100 events of the same type in bulk. Events marked as read are retained in the archives for 60 days.
