Functions and transformations define how extracted data is processed, validated, and prepared before it is loaded into the staging database. Each transformation can include multiple steps, mappings, and configured variables. Logging captures execution details, warnings, and errors, allowing administrators to review processing activity and troubleshoot issues during extraction and load operations.
