Software requirements

The ETL Client requires Java SDK version 1.8 (Java 8). Later Java versions are not supported and must not be used.

Install a 64-bit Java 8 SDK on the host where the ETL Client runs and configure the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to this installation. The supported version is Java SDK 1.8 (Java 8) only.

You can obtain a compatible Java 8 distribution, for example Amazon Corretto 8, from https://docs.aws.amazon.com/corretto/latest/corretto-8-ug/downloads-list.html.
