Error handling and troubleshooting

By applying error handling strategies, you can reduce the risk of process failures, improve flow observability, and simplify troubleshooting and maintenance.

What is error handling

Error handling defines how orchestration flows in Enterprise Orchestrator respond to runtime failures. This improves flow stability, reliability, and monitoring visibility.

Instead of allowing a failed activity to terminate a Symphony abruptly, you can configure alternate execution paths that guide the flow to a recovery point or a specific error-handling state.

Functionality of error handling

Effective error handling improves orchestration resilience by enabling Symphonies to manage both expected and unexpected failures. It also enhances monitoring visibility and helps ensure that business-critical processes continue or fail in a transparent and traceable manner.
