Before executing a symphony, ensure that it's in the Active state. If it is not active, go to the symphonies Overview page and click Activate on the symphony tile.
- Select and locate the symphony you want to run.
- In the Tile view, click Execute on the symphony tile. In the Grid view select a check box next to the symphony you want to execute.
- Review and complete the symphony variables.
In the dialog box, specify all required variable values. Ensure values comply with validation rules for type, format, and length.
Note: Execute window displays the input variables only when the variables have the input check box selected while creating the symphony.
- Click Execute in the dialog box.
The confirmation dialog box includes:
- A success message
- A button to copy the Execution ID
- A link to the Executions page to monitor progress
Note: If a symphony variable has a defined description, an information icon is displayed next to the variable name in the Execute pop-up window. When you hover over the icon, a tooltip is displayed with the variable's description.
