What is an activity?

In Enterprise Orchestrator, an activity is a fundamental building block of orchestration logic. It represents a task or operation that is executed as part of a larger workflow or Symphony.

Activities are integrated with these applications:

• AI Machine Learning
• AI Optimization
• Infor BaaS
• ION Data Flow
• ION Workflow
• RPA

Purpose of an activity management

On the Symphony canvas, you place and link activities to define the orchestration. Each activity connects to an Infor application.

You can click drag activities to rearrange them on the canvas, and move the canvas by clicking and holding the mouse during navigation.

You can click on an activity to open the activity properties and configure input and output variables, timeouts, and error handling.
