Stop a Symphony execution

Cancel an in progress Symphony execution from the Execution Details page in Enterprise Orchestrator.

You can interrupt and restart Symphony executions for troubleshooting or operational control.

Executions in progress can be stopped to prevent further processing, and resumed later applicable. For example, within a permitted time window and with a compatible execution status.

  1. Go to Enterprise Orchestrator > Executions
  2. Locate a Symphony you want to stop.
The Symphony must have the In Progress status.
  3. Double click the Symphony row to open the Execution Details page.
  4. Click Stop.

This button is available only if the Symphony status is In Progress.

A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

  5. Confirm the action.

    Result:

The Symphony execution is canceled and the status updates to the Stopped status.

    Postrequisites:

    • If you click No in the confirmation dialog box, the Symphony continues to run.
    • If the Symphony completes before you confirm the stop request, the cancellation is not applied.
