Prerequisites

Before working with local Backend as a Service (BaaS) development, ensure that your environment meets the required prerequisites. These prerequisites support running local services, databases, and supporting tools needed for development and testing.

To start and stop the Docker container that hosts the local Cassandra database and web interface, install Docker Desktop from the Docker website and ensure it is running.
