Identity Provider certificate

This module includes all events that are associated with the Identity Provider (IDP) certificate resource. These certificates are configured on the customer IDP side and ensure SAML message integrity between the IDP and Infor OS. This resource is used for federated identity single sign-on to Infor OS.

You can use the events in this module to monitor upcoming IDP certificate expiration.

INFO alert about the IDP certificate expiration

This event is sent when the IDP certificate expires in 90 days. The event indicates that the certificate that your IDP uses for federation with Infor OS is approaching expiration.

The event includes the expiration date and details about the IDP certificate that is approaching expiration. The event also includes a link to Knowledge Base article 3528110. This article provides information about IDP certificate management.

WARN alert about the IDP certificate expiration

This event is sent daily during the 30 days before the IDP certificate expires. Because federated sign-in and sign-out are critical, this alert is issued daily unless the IDP certificate has already been updated. If the administrator does not update the IDP certificate, issues can occur with federated sign-in and sign-out for your tenant.
