System Configuration page
Select . The System Configuration page is where an admin manages tenant-wide GenAI settings. To use this page, you must have the GenAI-Admin IFS user role.
The System Configuration page includes these sections:
- Tracing
- Boost Settings
- In-line Thoughts
How do I configure tracing?
Tracing controls whether GenAI execution data is sent to external systems for monitoring, compliance, and analytics. The Tracing section has two independent toggles. You can enable or disable each one separately:
-
The Enable GenAI tracing with third party toggle sends GenAI execution traces to LangSmith, which is a third-party observeability platform. Traces are used for monitoring and debugging agent activity.
When the Enable GenAI tracing with third party toggle is enabled, agent execution traces are captured and sent to LangSmith. When it's disabled, no traces are captured or sent.Note: LangSmith is external to the Infor platform. When the Enable GenAI tracing with third party toggle is on, trace data leaves the Infor environment. -
The Enable Data Lake tracing toggle sends agent execution and content change events to Data Lake for compliance reporting and analytics.
When the Enable Data Lake tracing toggle is enabled, events are reported to Data Lake. When this toggle is disabled, no events are sent to Data Lake. When you re-enable the toggle, reporting resumes from that point. Data from the disabled period is not backfilled.Note: The Enable Data Lake tracing toggle appears only when Data Fabric is provisioned on the tenant. If Data Fabric is not provisioned, the toggle is hidden.
Both tracing toggles are tenant-wide and admin-only. Their state persists across admin sessions.
How do I configure In-line Thoughts for the tenant?
In-line Thoughts controls how much of an agent's reasoning appears while it works. As an admin, you choose which display tiers are available to users and set the tenant default. Under In-line Thoughts, you can enable or disable each tier:
- Show minimal option: Thinking indicator with time and token usage.
- Show standard option: Plain language actions with time and token usage.
- Show detailed option: Full trace with tool details.
