Uploading files to the GenAI Assistant

Upload documents and images to the GenAI Assistant to get context-aware responses.

You can upload a spreadsheet for analysis, an image for the GenAI Assistant to describe, or a PDF for summarization.

  1. Upload an attachment using one of these options:
    • Drag and drop: Drag a file from your device onto the GenAI Assistant chat area. Release the file to the drop zone overlay that displays Drop files here to add to chat conversation.
    • Use the + icon: Select the + icon in the chat input box. Select Add files and images to browse your device and select a file.
  2. Send the file to the GenAI Assistant by itself or attach it to a message.
Note: The GenAI Assistant currently supports these file types:
  • Documents: pdf, csv, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, html, txt, md
  • Images: png, jpeg/jpg, gif, webp
