Conversing with GenAI Assistant

To start a conversation:

  1. Click the GenAI Assistant icon on the top banner of the Infor OS Portal.
  2. In the text field, type your message or question and press Enter or click the Send icon.
    Note: Responses generated by the GenAI Assistant may vary despite the user providing the same input in a separate chat session. Users are encouraged to keep in mind that the same input does not guarantee the same output.

    Soft delete for conversation history

    When a user deletes a conversation from their history, the messages are hidden from the chat UI. The underlying trace data and any feedback submitted on those messages is preserved for compliance and analytics purposes.

    Note: The Data Retention Policy automatic purge (permanent deletion of soft-deleted conversations after the configured retention period) is planned for 2026.12.
