Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) enable and disable

  • When GRC disables a resource, any API request that attempts to invoke or use that resource is blocked.
  • When GRC disables a resource, any API request that attempts to re-enable a GRC-disabled resource is rejected.
  • GRC enable and disable controls apply to Agents
  • These controls are available through the API. The API is not publicly available.
  • In the user interface, only agents can be enabled or disabled.
  • Only binary enable or disable is supported. No intermediate statuses.

GRC CRUD Notifications

  • The system sends a notification to the GRC service after each create, update, or delete operation that affects a GenAI resource.
  • GRC uses notification data to maintain the use-case registry.
  • GRC uses notification data to start reassessment workflows.
