Create an AMQP connection point

Use this procedure to create an AMQP connection point.

  1. Select ION > Connect > Connection Points.
  2. Click + Add and select AMQP.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a descriptive name for the connection point. The Logical ID is generated automatically from the specified name.
    Description
    Specify a description for the connection point.
    Global Package Namespace
    Select a namespace if the connector belongs to a global package. This field is optional.
    Enabled via Enterprise Connector
    Indicates whether the connection point is deployed through Enterprise Connector. In Phase 1, this field is selected by default and is read-only.
    Location
    Select the Enterprise Connector location. This field is required when Enabled via Enterprise Connector is selected.
  4. Verify the generated Logical ID.

    The Logical ID is generated automatically:

    • For Enterprise Connector deployments: infor.cloud.amqp.<connection_point_name>
    • For Cloud deployments: infor.amqp.<connection_point_name>
  5. Click Save.

    If applicable, via Enterprise Connector is displayed in the page header.

The connection point is created but is not yet fully configured. Configure the connection properties before activating the connection point.
