Infor Mobile Hub overview

Infor Mobile Hub delivers an industry targeted, mobile‑first experience by organizing Infor CloudSuite capabilities into purpose‑built application hubs designed for how work is done. This modular approach establishes a scalable foundation for extensibility across CloudSuites, while maintaining a cohesive, role‑based user experience.

What is Infor Mobile Hub?

Infor Mobile Hub provides secure mobile access to service applications (service apps) that are assigned to your Infor OS Portal. Service apps represent capabilities that are provisioned in your organization's environment and appear as modules within Infor Mobile Hub.

Using Infor Mobile Hub, you can add your organization's Infor OS Portal environment profile to sign in, access service apps available in your environment, use AI Chat, and receive notifications.

The modules that appear in the application depend on the services enabled in Infor OS Portal and the roles assigned to your user account.

Infor Mobile Hub provides consistent functionality across supported Android and iOS devices.

Note: Settings in the OS Portal Mobility page and other web administration pages are managed by your organization administrator. End users do not have access to these pages and only have access to the Apps & Authorizations page. If you need a Unified QR code, Universal Link, or Organization ID, contact your administrator.

What you need before you start

Download and install Infor Mobile Hub from the supported application store for your device before creating a profile. For Android devices, download the application from the Google Play Store. If your device is company-managed, the application may already be installed by your IT administrator.

Once installed, the application is displayed as Infor Hub on the device. However, in the App Store or Google Play Store product listing, it appears as Infor Mobile Hub, with the subtitle Unified Mobile Experience.

To configure access, obtain one of these from your administrator:

A QR code provided as an image or email, a Universal Link (URL), or an Organization ID.

When you configure a profile, Infor Mobile Hub tests the connection to verify that the configuration is valid and that the device can connect to the environment.

You must also have valid credentials for your organization's environment.

Language Support

Infor Mobile Hub automatically displays the app in the same language as your device settings. There is no language selection option within the app. The language configured in the Infor OS Portal environment by the user is not reflected in the mobile app, as it strictly follows the language of the device.

What languages are supported

The app supports thirty one languages, including English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, and many more.

Arabic and Hebrew display the app right‑to‑left (RTL) automatically.

How the app selects your language

When you open the app, these things are verified:

  • Language of your device
  • Whether your organization has enabled that language
  • A fallback language selected by an administrator. For details, see: "General settings" topic in Infor OS Portal Administration Guide (Cloud)

The app selects the best match according to this order:

  1. Exact language match
  2. Same base language (for example, change from French Belgium to French France)
  3. If nothing matches, fallback language (selected by an administrator)
Note: If you want to switch the app language, see Changing a language of the app

What happens when you change the language

When you change the language of your device, these elements are updated:

  • Buttons and labels
  • Error messages
  • Notifications
  • App menus

Language in Service apps is also switched, if it's supported.

Troubleshooting

Table 1. This table lists common issues and solutions:
Issue Solution
App shows fallback language Your admin may not have enabled your language.
Only the service app is in the wrong language That service may not support your language.
Language didn’t update Minimize and re-open app, or close and open again.
RTL doesn't show correctly Ensure that the language of your device is Arabic or Hebrew.

Accessibility features

Accessibility features help users to rely on assistive tools such as TalkBack. TalkBack helps people with limited vision use a mobile device without seeing the screen clearly. It provides spoken feedback, vibration, and gesture-based navigation, so users interact with apps, messages, settings, and websites independently. Infor Mobile Hub provides audio descriptions, role announcements, and screen structure cues.

Key features

These are the most important accessibility features and their descriptions:

  • Content descriptions: Screen reader inform about function of a button or an icon.
  • Roles (button, switch, etc.): Help navigation tools understand element behaviors.
  • State announcements: Switches are announced as enabled or disabled, radios as selected or not selected.
  • Live region alerts: Messages (errors or updates) are read aloud automatically.
  • Headings: Help users jump between sections quickly.

Example screens

These are the example screens within Infor Mobile Hub and their behaviors:

  • Login:
    • When you tap on the logo, it is read aloud as Infor Mobile Hub app logo.
    • Invalid errors are read aloud immediately.
  • QR Scanner:
    • When you tap on the logo, it is read aloud as QR scanning area.
    • Flashlight toggle announces Flashlight on or flashlight off.
  • Main App:
    • When you tap on the logo, it is read aloud as Loading, please wait.
    • Network changes are announced.
  • Documents:
    • Thumbnails are labeled as Document preview.
    • Downloads are announced as Download complete.

Roles and access

Access to service applications and features is controlled by your assigned role and your organization configuration in Infor OS Portal.

The Infor OS Portal environment provided by your organization can include services or products such as IDM, ION, AI Chat, or other Infor capabilities.

Service apps, notifications, and AI Chat features appear in Infor Mobile Hub based on the environment configuration and the roles assigned to you.

Module availability depends on enabled services and your assigned role.

Contact your administrator for changes to access permissions, Organization IDs, QR codes, or Universal Links.

Profiles and sign-in

A profile connects Infor Mobile Hub to your organization's Infor OS Portal environment.

You can create a profile using a QR code, Universal Link, or Organization ID provided by your administrator or add a profile through Microsoft Device Management (MDM) if the application is managed by your IT administrator.

After signing in, Infor Mobile Hub establishes a secure session with your organization environment and loads the apps that are available to your role.

Authentication methods depend on your organization configuration and may include Password, Passkey, or Microsoft Authentication for Mobile options. For additional application security after log-in, supported device authentication mechanisms or User PIN options can also be used.

Security and session management

Infor Mobile Hub enforces secure session management and access controls to protect organizational data.

The application monitors inactivity while it is running. If the application remains inactive for a configured period of time, the session is locked automatically. The default timeout is five minutes, although administrators can change this value.

When the application resumes from the background or when a session lock occurs, authentication is required to continue using the application.

Depending on your organization configuration, authentication may require an application PIN, biometric authentication such as fingerprint or facial recognition, a password, or a device unlock method.

Access to Infor Mobile Hub can be blocked on devices that do not meet organizational security requirements, including rooted or jailbroken devices.

Administrators can revoke active sessions when required.

Notifications and AI Chat

Infor Mobile Hub includes an in-application Notification Center and supports device-level push notifications.

Notifications are generated by applications in your environment that have notification capabilities.

Selecting a notification opens the related module or service so that you can review the details or take action.

When enabled in your profile settings, AI Chat sends a notification after generating informational responses within the application.

Feature availability depends on organization configuration and user roles.

Best practices for using Infor Mobile Hub

Keep only active profiles on your device.

Review Profile Settings to align application behavior with your work requirements.

Verify that your device complies with your organization security requirements.

Contact your administrator for configuration or service app access issues.
