Navigation and modules

Infor Mobile Hub provides navigation and module controls to access assigned applications and features. The display of some service apps in the default module depends on the roles assigned to the signed-in user, such as WFM Manager or Employee.

Infor Mobile Hub organizes service apps into modules. Each module represents an assigned service application.

In addition to service apps, the application also provides features such as AI Chat and the Notification Center. The availability of service apps and features depends on your assigned security role and your organization’s configuration.

Navigation behavior in Infor Mobile Hub is consistent across supported platforms. Module availability and layout depend on your organization’s configuration and profile settings.

When you select a module, the application loads the associated service interface within the mobile app instead of opening a web view in a mobile browser.

Default application behavior

After authentication, Infor Mobile Hub opens the default application for your profile. The default application is determined by your profile settings or by organizational configuration.

If access to the configured default application is no longer available, Infor Mobile Hub opens the next available module that is assigned to your role.

Change the startup application in Profile Settings if you require a different default application.

More menu behavior

Select the More icon in the footer to view additional modules that are not displayed directly in the footer.

The More menu lists applications based on your assigned role. Select an application from the More menu to open it in the same way as a footer module in Infor Mobile Hub.

If a required application is not visible in the footer or More menu, your role does not include access to that application.

Service app navigation

Service apps in Infor Mobile Hub can contain multiple pages or functional areas. If an application includes multiple pages, a menu icon appears in the header.

Select the Menu icon to open a side panel that lists available pages within the application. Select a page to navigate to that page.

Select the active application again in the footer to return to its main page.

The unified application supports menu search to help users quickly locate and access available application content. When you open the menu, you can use the search capability to find matching menu items and related entries without manually navigating through the menu structure. Search results are filtered based on the available application content and the user's access permissions. Selecting a search result navigates directly to the associated application page or content, providing a faster way to access frequently used functions and information.

This capability extends beyond standard menu navigation by allowing users to search across supported application entries from a single search experience.

Email link drillback navigation

Infor Mobile Hub supports drillback navigation for workflow links included in emails and displayed within dashboard widgets.

When you select a supported email drillback link, the application navigates directly to the associated record or workflow item and displays the relevant screen. You can then review details and perform available actions based on their permissions.

This capability supports workflow-driven scenarios such as approvals and notifications, providing direct access to the linked business context from within the application. If the link is invalid, expired, unavailable, or the user does not have access to the target record, an appropriate message is displayed.

Unsaved changes handling

When you navigate away from a service app page that contains editable data, Infor Mobile Hub checks for unsaved changes.

If no changes are pending, navigation continues.

If unsaved changes are detected, Infor Mobile Hub displays a prompt. Select the appropriate option to save changes or leave the page without saving.

Unsaved changes handling applies consistently across service apps that support data entry.

Best practices

Verify that the correct app is selected before performing actions that modify data.

Save changes before switching apps to prevent data loss.

Review prompts related to unsaved changes before navigating away from a page.

Contact your administrator if a required module is not visible in the footer or More menu.
