Profile settings

Profile settings control startup behavior, notifications, security options, diagnostics preferences, session actions, and user enrollment for Microsoft Authentication for Mobile (MAM) for an Infor Mobile Hub profile.

Profile settings applies to the active Infor Mobile Hub profile. Settings control how the profile behaves on your device. Some options depend on your organization’s configuration and cannot override administrator policies.

Setting a startup application

The startup application determines which module opens after authentication.

If no startup application is defined, the application follows the organizational default.

Changing the startup application does not change your assigned permissions.

Configuring notification preferences

Use Notifications to control which notifications you receive for the Notification Center of the active profile within Infor Mobile Hub.

Push notifications are delivered to the Notification Center for the active profile. Device-level push notification behavior is controlled by your device operating system.

Notifications are configured per application, such as Tasks, Alerts, and Messages for Notification Center and Notify When Complete for AI Chat. Settings are saved per user and application.

The Notifications option is hidden if you do not have access to the Service App, Notification Center, or AI Chat.

Configuring application security

Application security settings control how Infor Mobile Hub protects access after authentication.

Security controls can include Device Security (biometric authentication or device PIN) or a User PIN. These controls can be used to unlock the application after it locks because of inactivity. Available options depend on your administrator's choice.

Security enforcement follows environment configuration and applies consistently across modules.

Remember my PIN

Infor Mobile Hub introduces the Remember my PIN option to enhance the existing User PIN functionality in the App Security.

The Remember my PIN check box is displayed on the Confirm PIN page and is enabled by default. When selected, the user’s PIN is securely stored, which helps the user to bypass PIN setup on subsequent logins or re‑logins.

You can disable this option by clearing the check box on the Confirm PIN page if you don't want your PIN to be remembered. If application data for the your profile is cleared, the stored PIN is removed. In this case, you are prompted to set a new PIN during the next login, and the set PIN flow is shown again.

This capability improves usability by reducing repetitive PIN setup while maintaining required security standards.

User enrollment

When an administrator enables MAM authentication, the user is enrolled for the device and profile during sign-in. The Keep Enrolled on Sign Out option becomes available.

When this option is enabled, the user does not need to enroll each time they sign in to the profile. By default, Keep Enrolled on Sign Out is enabled. When the user signs in again to the same profile, the application prompts the user to enter the PIN that was created during the first sign-in using MAM (Intune) credentials.

If the user disables this option, they must enter their Intune credentials each time they sign in when MAM authentication is enabled for the environment.

Note: The Keep Enrolled on Sign Out option is not visible when MAM is disabled by the administrator. In that case, the App Security option is visible. When MAM is enabled, the App Security option is hidden.

Applications

The Applications section displays the AI Chat option.

Select AI Chat to open the AI Chat page, where you can configure settings related to AI Chat.

You can enable or disable the Show Follow Ups option.

When Show Follow Ups is enabled, follow-up suggestions appear for each response in the AI Chat. When this option is disabled, follow-up suggestions do not appear.

Managing diagnostics and analytics preferences

Diagnostics and analytics preferences control whether usage and performance information is shared for product improvement purposes.

Privacy information is available in the Diagnostics & Analytics section. You can choose whether to opt out of diagnostics and analytics data collection.

Diagnostics preferences apply to the active profile.

Logging out

Logging out ends the active session for the profile.

Logging out does not remove the profile from your device.

After logging out, authentication is required to access apps again.

Clearing profile data

The Clear Data option is available on the Profile details page. This option is visible only after you sign in to the profile and sign out at least once.

Clearing profile data removes locally stored configuration, cached data, and active session information for the profile.

Clearing profile data does not delete organizational data stored in backend systems.

After clearing profile data, you must sign in again to use the profile.
