Notification Center

An Envelope/Archive Tray icon for the Notification Center appears in the footer when the feature is enabled for your organization and your role includes access.

Notifications are organized into tabs such as All, Tasks, Messages, and Alerts. Use these tabs to filter the list by type. Available tabs depend on your assigned modules and your role. The All category displays all available notifications.

Notification Center uses these notification types:

• Alert: An indication of an exception in an application workflow or business logic. One alert can be sent to one or more users. Additionally, one user or each user can close the alert.
• Task: An activity that must be completed within a defined period of time. One task can be sent to one or more users. Additionally, one user or each user can close a task.
• Message: An informational message. You are not required to act on a message. You can read a message and then remove it from the view.

Use the Sort option to change how notifications are displayed. Sorting options include Newest, Oldest, Urgency, and Due Date.

Sorting changes the display order only and does not modify notification data.

You can view notifications in three levels of detail:

• List: The Notification Center contains a single page with tabs that filter notifications. This view shows your pending notifications as items. Each item represents one notification. Select a tab to display notifications related to a category (All, Tasks, Alerts, or Messages) , and use sorting to change the order.
• Preview: This view shows additional information about the selected notification and displays the actions that are available for that item.
• Detail: This view shows full detailed information about the notification and provides access to the actions available for the item. Select Done to mark a notification as completed. From Preview, select Open Details.

Types of actions:

• Complete a notification: Select Done to mark a notification as completed. After it is marked as done, it is removed from the list of pending notifications.
• Assign a notification: A notification can include the assign action. After you assign the notification to yourself, you can perform the related action.

The Notification Center lists only pending notifications. If a notification is marked as done, it is removed from the list.

If a notification is assigned to another user or marked as Done, it is removed from the list of notifications.

Push notifications are delivered as app-level alerts when notification permissions are enabled for the application on your device.

Selecting a push notification opens Infor Mobile Hub.

If the related notification is available for your profile, it appears in the Notification Center.

If you encounter issues, these are common messages and typical actions you should take:

• This action can’t be processed at this time: Refresh the list and try again.
• Connection problems during actions: Retry and check connectivity.
• Message details are unavailable. Contact your administrator.: Report the issue to your administrator and try reopening the item.
• Something went wrong. Please try again later.: Refresh the page and retry.

Review notifications regularly to address tasks and alerts.

Save changes before navigating from a notification to prevent data loss.

Contact your administrator if expected notifications are not visible.
