Setup methods

Administrators can provision the app using any supported onboarding method. These methods securely deliver the server configuration and authentication parameters required for the mobile application to connect to the Infor OS Portal environment.

Infor Mobile Hub supports multiple onboarding methods. Each method securely transfers the configuration required for users to connect the mobile application to their Infor OS Portal environment.

Scanning a QR code

Users can obtain the QR code from the Infor OS Portal to configure the mobile application automatically.

Obtaining the QR code

From Infor OS Portal, open the User Menu, select Apps & Authorizations, search for Infor Mobile Hub, and open the app that matches the device platform. The QR code is displayed on the app details page.

Alternatively, an administrator can email the QR code to users from the OS Portal. Users can open that email on a mobile device and tap the QR code to launch Infor Mobile Hub if installed, and the profile is added automatically. If the application is not installed, the Apple App Store or Google Play opens to install it.

Scanning the QR code

On the device, open the app and tap Scan QR Code.

Use the camera to scan the code or select a saved QR image from the device gallery.

On a successful scan, the application automatically adds the profile, marks it as default, and redirect user to Sign in page.

Emailing the QR code to users

In Infor OS Portal, navigate to OS → API Gateway → Authorized Apps. Locate Infor Mobile Hub and select Email QR code to users.

Add recipients and send the email. Users can open the email and add the profile as described in the QR code setup procedure.

Universal link-based configuration

Administrators can share a universal link that contains the same configuration payload as the QR code.

If the application is installed, tapping the link automatically adds the profile and opens the sign-in screen.

If the application is not installed, the platform app store opens first so that the user can install it.

When an active session exists, profiles may be added silently without changing the default profile.

Note: If Enable scopes per Authorized app is turned on at the tenant level under > , existing profiles in the mobile application may not work. If users experience issues, refresh the Organization ID and Universal Profile. Re-enable and save the Enable organization ID mobile setup toggle in > , then instruct users to remove and re-add their profile using the Organization ID, a unified QR code, or the Universal Link.

Organization ID-based configuration

Administrators assign a unique Organization ID that maps to a stored configuration profile.

Provide the Organization ID to users through your portal or by email.

When users enter the Organization ID, the application retrieves the stored configuration and automatically adds the profile. The sign-in screen is then displayed.

Note: If Enable scopes per Authorized app is enabled, refresh the Organization ID as described above and instruct users to remove and re-add their profile with the updated ID.

App configuration through MDM

For zero-touch provisioning on corporate-managed devices, push the Application Configuration (AppConfig) payload through your mobile device management (MDM) solution, such as Microsoft Intune.

Define server URLs, organization identifiers, and authentication parameters in the App Configuration policy within Intune Account.

When the application launches, it reads the MDM payload and automatically creates the profile.
