Portal notifications
Notifications in Infor OS Portal are alerts and updates that provide users with real-time information about critical events and errors within the application.
To access the Health Notifications screen, click the icon from the Infor OS Portal navigation bar.
The left panel contains these menus:
- Dashboard: Shows an overview of notifications from the last 24 hours. You can view the notifications, open their details, and see the number of notifications by severity.
- Health Events: Shows the timeline of the incident life cycle. You can track issues after they occur and verify how and when they are resolved.
- Application Events: Shows a list of notifications. You can view and mark each notification as read.
Each menu shows a list of applications registered in Health Service based on their rule type. Applications with a health rule are displayed in the Health Events menu and applications with data rule are displayed in the Application Events menu.
Dashboard
The dashboard shows a summary of health notifications from the last 24 hours. The dashboard contains two sections:
- Overview: Shows the number of health notifications by severity and the number of active unhealthy resources.
- Events: Shows notifications about health events and application events, divided into separate panels. In each panel, you can:
- View the total number of events.
- Filter the notifications by application or severity.
- Refresh the notification list.
- View notification details.
You can also perform these actions that are specific to the notification type:
- For health events: See the timeline of the occurrence of healthy and unhealthy events for a resource. To do so, click the icon in the health event item.
- For application events: Mark the notifications as read. To do so, hover over the application event item and click , or mark all application events by clicking in the panel header.
You can maximize and minimize each section.
