Changes with infor-compass-jdbc-2026.10.zip

From the 2026.10 release, the Compass JDBC driver uses the unified connection URL format under the infordataplatform subprotocol. This subprotocol replaces the deprecated infordatalake subprotocols with a consistent structure that identifies the data store category.

This change simplifies the configuration through a single driver identifier (infordataplatform) that supports future data categories.

This general structure is used in the URL:

jdbc:infordataplatform:<category>

<category> represents the target data store datalake.

To support migration, the prior JDBC URL (infor:datalake) remains available through the 2028.04 release.

Migrating existing JDBC URLs

For Data Lake, the existing JDBC URL remains supported. However, we recommend that you migrate to the new URL format with the new version.

  1. Identify all connection configurations that use jdbc:infordatalake in your applications, scripts, BI tools, and connection pools.
  2. Map each prior URL to the new format. For example, jdbc:infordatalake becomes jdbc:infordataplatform:datalake.
  3. Retain existing parameters and append them with ://.

  4. Test the connectivity.
  5. Save the driver configuration.
    The driver configuration is ready for use.
