Begin by deploying the global package to your TST tenant for initial testing and configuration of the ION resources. After successful verification, deploy the package to your PRD tenant.

Deploy to a test environment first

Deploy the global package to the customer's TST tenant. Use this environment for the initial review, testing, and configuration of the delivered ION resources.

If customer-specific configuration changes are required, apply and validate them in the TST tenant first. This process confirms that the delivered package content works as expected and that any required adjustments are correct before they are introduced into other environments.

After the package and configuration changes have been successfully tested and verified in the TST tenant, deploy the same global package to each required customer environment, including PRD. Deploy the global package separately to each environment where the content is required.

Reapply any customer-specific configuration changes manually after the package has been deployed to each target environment. These changes are not carried over from the TST tenant to PRD or to any other customer environment. This approach ensures that each environment is updated in a controlled manner based on the configuration that has already been tested and approved in the TST tenant.
