Post-deployment tasks

There are tasks that must be completed after the global package has been deployed. This section describes these tasks.

Data Catalog does not require any post-deployment tasks. However, for editable packages, you can review the updated reference template after the deployment.

In Data Fabric, pipelines require some post-deployment tasks. Update all imported destinations with the new connection details and credentials. Test the connections before you start the stream pipelines that use those connections. Stream pipelines that are imported through the global package deployment are initially in the draft status and must be started.
