Enterprise Connector for API Gateway

Learn how Enterprise Connector enables API Gateway to securely communicate with on-premises target APIs and provides OAuth 2.0 Target Security for outbound API calls.

Enterprise Connector enables API Gateway to communicate with on-premises target APIs that do not have a direct network connection to the cloud. The API Gateway Hybrid Service runs as an independent service within Enterprise Connector and acts as a secure bridge between the cloud-hosted API Gateway and your on-premises infrastructure.

Starting with Infor OS 2026.10, Enterprise Connector supports OAuth 2.0 Target Security for outbound API calls. Administrators can configure outbound requests to authenticate with OAuth 2.0-protected target services by using the Client Credentials or Resource Owner Password Credentials (ROPC) grant types. The Hybrid Service automatically acquires, caches, refreshes, and injects access tokens, eliminating the need to implement custom token management.
