Limitations and known constraints

Review the current limitations and constraints before enabling MCP Server features.

Review these constraints before rolling out MCP Server features:

Descriptions are required for discovery. Existing MCP endpoints without a Target Endpoint Description continue to function but do not appear in GenAI tool discovery until a description is added.
Maximum of 10 MCP Servers per MCP Client authorized app. An MCP Client authorized app can be associated with up to 10 individually selected MCP Servers. This limit does not apply to Infor GenAI Agents, which can access any MCP Server.
Registry-managed suites are read-only in the Gateway UI. For Infor-Provisioned, Non-Provisioned, Third Party, and BaaS suites, MCP status is managed centrally and is shown as a read-only indicator in the Gateway UI.
