Enabling Enterprise Connector on an endpoint

The Enterprise Connector service is installed automatically the first time an API suite is deployed to an enterprise location. The service is uninstalled automatically when the last API suite associated with that location is removed. If you upgrade Enterprise Connector by using a newer installer while the service is running, the Hybrid Service is upgraded automatically.

You can enable Enterprise Connector for Non-Infor target endpoints, Infor non-provisioned deployments, and third-party deployments.

  1. Navigate to API Gateway > Available APIs.
  2. Add or edit an endpoint as described in the API Endpoints or API Deployments documentation.
  3. Enable the Enterprise Connector option.
  4. Select an enterprise location.
    Only enterprise locations provisioned in ION are available.
  5. Click Save.

The endpoint is associated with the selected enterprise location, and the Enterprise Connector policy is added. Creation and deletion of the web API service for the Enterprise Connector location are managed automatically.
