Desktop
This section describes the activities and the properties related to the Desktop category.
Note: MS build tools must be installed before you use this activity. See, Installing vs_buildtools for Desktop Automation.
Inspect functionality
All the activities grouped in the Desktop category, except Open Application, include the option. This option identifies the user interface element and registers a Selector. Selectors are utilized for process automation.
When you click on , the application displays a pop-up window that registers the Selector of the UI element. The pop-up window displays the 'XPath identified' message when an element is clicked. The XPath is automatically added to the activity when you click the option.
