Accessing Inbox

To use the Inbox application, you must have access to the Infor OS Portal portal, and you must have these security roles:

  • MingleIONEnabled
  • MingleEnterprise

You can access these menu options in Inbox:

Menu option Description
All This is the default selected option. It displays the Inbox view of all open messages sent to the current user, with a maximum of 600 messages. Next to the menu option a total count of open messages is shown.
Tasks Show a list of all open tasks for the current user, with a maximum of 200 tasks. Next to the menu option the total count of open tasks is shown.
Alerts Show a list of all open alerts sent to the current user, with a maximum of 200 alerts. Next to the menu option the total count of open alerts is shown.
Notifications Show a list of all open notifications sent to the current user, with a maximum of 200 notifications. Next to the menu option the total count of open notifications is shown.
Message View This menu option appears only when Inbox is accessed through a drillback to a specific message ID. The details of the specified message are shown, if the current user has been part of the message distribution list.
Settings Configuration options for Inbox. These options apply to the current user and are stored for each browser and each device.
About Shows the dialog box with the version information.
Note: These Inbox screens show open messages only:
  • All
  • Tasks
  • Alerts
  • Notifications

Open messages have a status of New, Assigned or Unassigned.

  1. To start the Inbox application, click the envelope icon in the top bar of the Infor OS Portal portal and select Inbox.
  2. To open the application menu, select the menu icon in the upper section of Inbox.
    The Inbox menu options are displayed.
