Configuring security access profile settings
A security access profile specifies the IP addresses that can access an external entity and the hours during which access is provided.
The configuration for the security access profile is located on the Security Access Profile settings tab.

When a security access profile is configured, it affects all users within an external entity.
This table describes the settings on the Security Access Profile tab:
Settings | Description |
---|---|
Day | The day of the week the login hour configuration applies to. |
Start Time | The start time when external entity users can log into the external entity. This field is only enabled on days for which Selected Hours Access is selected. |
End Time | The end time after which users cannot access the external entity. This field is only enabled on days for which Selected Hours Access is selected. |
Selected Hours Access | Select this check box to enable the selection of the start time and end time for access on a specific day. When configured, external entity users can only access the external entity within the selected time frame. |
All Day Access | Select this check box to allow users to access the external entity any time during the selected day. |
All Day No Access | Select this check box to block all users from accessing the external entity during the selected day. |
IP Range | This setting is used to configure the minimum and maximum IP address range. An external entity user must have an IP address in this range to be able to log in. |
Specific IP Block | This setting is used to configure a specific IP address that a user must match to be able to log in. |
Clear Times | This removes all of the configurations and sets it back to the default. |
