Configuring Infor Federated Services

IFS is an Infor system that provides additional user properties in addition to those found in a regular user repository.

IFS is used for various tasks within the Grid:

Deployment of SAML in Grid requires an IFS connection to register Grid to the Identity Provided. See Configuring SAML.
Provide user roles for SAML. See Role handling in the grid with SAML and IFS and
Provide available roles for configuring role mappings. See Defining role mappings.
Provide user validation fro Impersonation. See Impersonation.
Provide user information to Grid applications.
