Starting the Data Loader run

  1. Click the Operate tab.
    The Run Overview page shows the list of all Data Loader runs.

    The top section contains information about the Data Loader name and current status.

    The main section contains a data grid with one run on each line with overview information about the run.

    This table shows the details of the page:

    Field/button Description
    Details Go to the run details page
    Run The incremental counter starting at 1.
    Status The current status of this run.
    Documents The number of documents processed successfully, and the total number of documents that are selected for the run.
    Rows The total number of table rows/document lines that are processed successfully.
    Data Objects The total number of data objects that are sent to Data Lake successfully.
    Start Time Date and time when the run started.
    End Time Date and time when the run completed, failed, or was stopped.
    Started by User Name of the user who started the run.
    Stopped by User Name of the user who stopped the run.
    Connection Point Name of the connection point that is used for this run.

    The bottom part of the page contains paging controls.

  2. Click Start, displayed as a play icon.
  3. Specify the Run Frequency.
    • Run schedule
      If a schedule was set up, then this will be the default frequency. If you execute this option, it will initiate the first iteration of the schedule.
    • Run once
      If no schedule exists, then this will be the default frequency.

    These values are editable when a schedule exists.

  4. Specify the Run Type.
    • This value is predetermined by the Data Load Type selected when the Schedule was set up. It is not editable here if a Schedule exists.
    • If no Schedule exists, the Run Frequency is defaulted to Run once and cannot be edited but the Run Type can be switched between the available options.

    Select these check boxes (only applicable for once off runs):

    • All documents without incremental keys
      Include failed documents not processed in previous run.
      • All documents selected in the Documents tab and that do not have incremental keys are loaded.
      • Select the applicable documents from the documents list.
    • Incremental Load
      Clear incremental values before load. This option is available when the Run Frequency is Run once.
      • Reset the incremental values to start a fresh load.
      • All documents selected in the Documents tab and that do have incremental keys are loaded.
  5. Click OK.
    The Data Loader run is started. The run is visible in the run overview with the Triggered status.
